Harbor Motel

This place is an old school motel. Physical key with a big diamond keychain. It’s older. Yeah. But *** It’s clean ***. The guy that owns/runs it is a good dude. He has pride in his place. It’s a couple blocks from a nice small town bars. Good pizza shop. We were ending a drive through UP and didn’t want to pop $450 to stay in Munising. The people of Manistique treated us like we’ve lived there for 25 years. If we do another UP drive - we’ll make it a point to stay again! Note: the five star review is for what it is. It doesn’t mean there’s a concierge, valet and restaurant with a dedicated sommelier.

Reciently renovated, our room was clean, bright, and smelled nice. The owner is friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to the marina, a park, and the downtown shopping area. The price of the rooms make this a great value.

Love this place! It's a time warp to days before cookie cutter chain motels, when every place and every room had personality. But unlike other places where you get this experience as a result of years of neglect, Harbor is exquisitely maintained, and lovingly hosted. The owner will walk you to your room and personally ensure you have everything you need. It's a great retro experience without sacrificing any comfort or convenience.

Just spent 2 nights here at the Harbor motel. Couldn't have asked for better hospitality. The owner was very nice and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean as well . We highly recommend them! Thanks again for everything. (The Millers)

We had a great stay at the Harbor Motel. The accommodations are dated, but it is clean and the owner was very nice. You can’t beat the location and price. We loved the boardwalk and the town provided everything we needed and more!

This is a good, clean place to stay at a very fair price. The staff is very helpful and friendly (stood in the rain to assist me) the rooms have all the amenities you need, plus being located in town, food, drinks and shopping are only a short walk away!!!

Traveling with the wife two kids and the dog it was a very welcome, refreshing stop on our way back from Ontonagon. The owener is more then helpful, even brought out his own BBQ grill for us to use. Couldn't be more pleased. Will definitely stay here again!!

Chris, the proprietor, was very friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, and lots of channels to choose from when we did watch any TV. The room had air conditioning and free WiFi, and the price was reasonable. It isn't one of those fancy 5 star places, but it was just right, right downtown, close to the water and restaurants, bars, and shopping.

On a girls trip we stopped in to stay the night. VERY reasonable priced! Cute rooms! Clean. Beds were so comfortable. Sheets smelled like they were washed that day. No air conditioning BUT, they had a fan Owner was nice. I pinned this motel on my google maps. Definitely recommend! If we come back up north, we WILL be staying here! Chris made sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for the lovely stay.

This place was great! The owner was super cool. He went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. Clean room, well stocked, we could walk down town, walk the board walk to the light house. Great value as well.
